First things first, apologies for being hopeless with getting back to comments and favs you have all left me. The sad truth is, I don't really use DA anymore as I find Flickr more convenient for my needs.

Due to health reasons I haven't actually been out for the last few months to do any photography anyway.

Well, I tried my hand at firework photography tonight.

For some reason my camera was taking ages to process each shot. I've been getting a few errors flash up with the memory card lately so I'm thinking it's on its way out. Which is annoying.

Anyway, I've uploaded my five favourites and learnt some lessons for next year.

It's much harder than I thought it'd be actually. Mainly getting the balance between shutter speed and aperture (I used fully manual).

Hello luvvies, [please say that in an overly-theatrical way for the intended inflection]

I've gone and done it (again) and had a re-design of my website and you can find it at GBYphotography.com. It's taken me quite a while to do so my most recent images aren't on there. I had done it aages ago but I've been busy with work and whatnot, so just finished it today.

Anyway...I quite liked my old site (which can be found here still) but I wanted something a bit more streamlined and more photography orientated.

I've gone for the minimalistic look with selective images. This will be spiced up a bit with a few more pictures within pictures (that probably doesn't make sense, but I know what I mean) but at the moment I've gone for a basic design to get some feedback from all of you before going ahead and properly completing it.

So, could you all be darlings and go have a peep, look around, see what you think, either use the form on the contact page (to make sure it keeps working) to let me know what you think of it, or tell me on here.

I apologise for the page loading times, I've not properly compressed the images yet as the site isn't completely finished but it should load quicker when it's completely done.

Anyway, I hope you like it. I look forward to hearing all your comments. I hope you're all well.
